The labelling of the food products, becomes an indispensable element to contribute the sanitary guarantees and the information that accompanies to the product to the consumer has to guarantee this security in an extense frame of corresponsibility. For some collectives like the allergic to gluten ones or persons with other intolerance the labelling is a key element for their health.
Is the information that brings the labelling of the foods sufficient? Is it excessive? The consumer understand the information of the labelling? Which is the compulsory information of the alimentary containers? Do the nutritional contents have to be stated?
In the course of the round table that it is integrates into the whole of activities of the Science week 2007we will attempt to give answer to these and other questions, and we will value how the labelling can contribute in the health of the consumers
